Leave. Go see the world.

Shuji Nakamura has a piece of advice for Japanese students: Leave. Go see the world.

I couldn’t agree more. And this advice goes for students all over the world. Leaving your country and finding out what life is like in other places, what people think, how people behave, all of this will teach you a lot about the world, about your own country and culture, and about yourself.

That’s not to say that you should leave forever, though.
