Write it. Draw it.

People who are trying to lose weight often write down what they eat, making food journals. The simple process of writing it down helps you keep track of just how much you’re eating and that helps people lose weight because we often forget just how much we’re actually consuming.

Posting photos of what you eat on Instagram is kind of the same thing and takes a lot less time.

What if we did the same thing for every thing we bought? Would it help us to consume less? And instead of writing or taking photos, how about drawing?

Nice to know that some people in New York City also eat unagi.

And speaking of food diaries, the New York Times reports that people in the U.S. are finally eating less. And drinking less soda. More desserts, though.
