This is Ivan from Ivan Ramen (he had a shop in Setagaya but went back to NYC), showing us how to eat ramen properly. What do you think? Is he right?
One thing he says is that a typical Tokyoite (young, male) will down a bowl of ramen in 4 minutes, while in New York, he sees people take 20-40 minutes for a bowl. Wow. Those noodles must be pretty mushy by the time they’re done. Ivan calls it “heartbreaking.”
