Bear baths

From cats (yesterday’s post) to bears behaving weirdly. Well, maybe not so weird. We all like to take baths!

More about grizzly bears in Yellowstone National Park:

“Grizzly Bears and the Endangered Species Act”

And then there’s the “moon bear” or Asian black bear. They like to bathe, too:

Read about one lucky moon bear:

“After Suffering 13 Years in the Bile Industry, Chau the Moon Bear Gets Her Freedom!”

Have you ever seen a bear up close? I saw some in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido (in a bear park). Not sure how happy they are in captivity, but they don’t have to worry about finding food.

And they can make friends with crows.

Oops! Where’d you go?
