You don’t *have* to do a bilingual recipe (you can do it in English only), but I think it’s a really good way to focus on how different “recipe language” is in two different languages.
I wrote both of these myself; I didn’t copy either of them from the internet or a recipe book. “Recipe language” is unusual and you often can’t just translate. You need to learn special words and phrases.
The best way to do this is to read recipe sites and watch cooking videos in that langauge. Check the Tools page for a few recipe sites and YouTube channels.
